We're not just any Creative Space. We're a Collective. That means we use the greatest strengths of each member to make sure you get what you need, when you need it and together make this creative life a better place to be.
Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Great at cover design? Awesome! Need someone to write you back cover copy? Yes. We can do that. Hate marketing? There's someone who adores it.
Don't want to exchange, just want to pay people for what they do best? Yeah, we have that option too, and in return we find others who love to do what we hate to do. Win, win. Everybody gets something they need in exchange for what they enjoy doing anyway.
Here's the deal: We're asking you to support the time it takes to maintain the database, add details, find help with your publishing needs, and exchange your services.
That means you need to guesstimate a price on what you do best. What is it worth in terms of your time? What kind of additional expenses are there in creating that cover or using your marketing experience or PR savvy? That way people can exchange services with you in an equitable way.
Then, we need you to commit to being part of the Collective. This is a membership-based service. For less than a latte at your favorite coffee stand once a month, you get access to find people who need what you can do and get what you need in return. Why are we asking a membership fee of $5.00 a month? Because we have to pay for this lovely website and all the space to support the database.
We're currently working on making all this happen and will have a subscription option available soon. Send us an email if you'd like to be put on the advanced notice list when this launches.
